The top-seeded Martlets will host fourth-place UQAM (7-9) in a sudden-death semifinal at the Love Competition Gymnasium tonight at 7 p.m.听 The other semifinal, also on Tuesday at 7 p.m., pits Bishop's (7-9) at Concordia (8-8).

The Martlets, who are gunning for their first Quebec championship since 1996, won the first three confrontations of the season series between the two squads before falling 70-60 to the Citadins last Saturday night.

In the other semi-final Bishop's and Concordia split their season series 2-2 with each team sweeping their home-court games. In their last meeting on February 17, Bishop's edged the Stingers 44-42 in a defensive struggle.听 Bishop's is the only team in the past decade, other than Laval to win an RSEQ title, with their last championship coming in 2004.听 The Stingers last conference championship came in 1999, capping a three-year string of titles.
