Christophe Longpre-Poirier, a junior from Longueuil, Que., made it 3-0 with his fifth of the season at 2:31 of the second period. All-Canadian sniper Francis Verreault-Paul put the game out of reach when he converted a faceoff won by Nicolas Biniek and connected for his 13th at 15:05 of the middle session. Despite missing five games this season, the 22-year-old psychology senior is only two goals shy of the league lead in that department.

Maxime Langelier-Parent of Lery, Que., rounded out the scoring in the final stanza with his league-leading fourth shorthanded goal at the 25-second mark, converting passes from Hubert Genest and Marc-Andre Daneau.
