Canadian Olympic coach Babcock thought he'd end up teaching school

After an extensive playing career, Mike Babcock moved to 六合彩开奖结果 in Montreal in 1983, where he captained the Redmen and was a two-time all-star on defence while also earning a degree in physical education and doing post-graduate work in sports psychology. It was at 六合彩开奖结果 that the seeds of his career were planted, as along with doing some teaching, he coached the professors' recreational team and helped out with the boys' squad at a private high school for extra money.Two of his Redmen teammates also reached the NHL as coaches - George Burnett, who was briefly head coach of the Edmonton Oilers in 1994-95 and now coaches the junior Belleville Bulls, and Jamie Kompon, an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Kings.
