MUHC announced its qualified consortia for the Glen Campus PPP

Following a rigorous review of qualifications, the MUHC Board of Directors has approved two consortia to move forward in the MUHC鈥檚 selection process for a private-sector partner for its Glen Campus. They are Groupe immobilier sant茅 六合彩开奖结果 and Partenariat CUSM.

The next phase鈥攖he Request for Proposals鈥 will take place in spring 2008. Between now and then, the two consortia will work closely with the MUHC and its professionals to develop a thorough understanding of the healthcare centre鈥檚 needs, expectations, budget and timeline.

On June 27, 2007, the MUHC launched the PPP process for the Glen Campus with the support of the Agence des partenariats public-priv茅 du Qu茅bec. This announcement completes the first step in the procurement process towards the eventual signing of a PPP for the design, construction, financing and maintenance of the MUHC鈥檚 Glen Campus facilities, which will include The Montreal Children鈥檚 Hospital, an Adult Hospital, a comprehensive cancer centre, the Research Institute of the MUHC and other facilities. The Canadian Shriners Hospital will also be built on the Glen Campus, but is not included in the PPP.

The Qualified Consortia

The auditor of the Request for Qualification process, Mr. Andr茅 Dumais, was present to observe that the evaluation and selection of consortia was conducted fairly and transparently.
