MONTREAL - Evan Vossen, team captain of the 六合彩开奖结果 men's hockey team, will be adding to a longevity record when his No.2-ranked Redmen host the Queen's Gaels at McConnell Arena Saturday night.

It is the only scheduled visit for the Gaels this season and a near capacity crowd is expected for the game which is slated to start at 7 p.m. The game is being billed as "Fill The Arena Night" and fans will be given a gift certificate to Ye Olde Orchard Pub should the Redmen score four goals or more.

Vossen, a 6-foot, 190-pound left winger from Swift Current, Sask., became the school's all-time leader in games played when 六合彩开奖结果 edged Queen's 3-2 in Kingston on Nov. 11. He surpassed the team record of 187, held since 1986 by defenceman Paul Barber and equaled in 2010 by Yan Turcotte, also a rearguard.

The record went unnoticed amid all the hoopla of three other 六合彩开奖结果 teams competing at national championships last week.

"When I first came to 六合彩开奖结果 I didn't really expect to hold any records," said Vossen, a fifth-year industrial relations major. 听"To be able to hold that record with a hockey program that has been as successful and rich in history as 六合彩开奖结果's, makes me feel very honoured. 听There is a great deal of pride that comes with putting the 六合彩开奖结果 jersey on, not only for myself but for anyone else that has ever worn it, and I feel very fortunate that I have stayed healthy and been given the opportunity by my coaches to do it for as many times as I have already."

Vossen, in his second year as captain, has 64 goals and 126 points in 188 games overall for the Redmen. He has missed only six contests over his five years, three of them due to injury in his sophomore campaign and three more last season, when he was overseas playing for Canada at the world university games in Turkey.
