MONTREAL 鈥 Michael White of Montreal and Ann-Sophie Bettez of Sept-Iles, Que., and are the 六合彩开奖结果 athletes of the week for the period ending Jan. 18, 2009.

White, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound forward on the Redmen basketball team, registered back-to-back 鈥渄ouble-doubles鈥, scoring 41 points and pulling down 28 rebounds as 六合彩开奖结果 split a home-and-home series with the No.6-ranked Concordia Stingers. The 23-year-old physical education junior shot 48.4 per cent from the field (15/31), 33.3 from three-point range (2/6) and 81.8 from the foul line (9/11). He was also credited with four blocked shots and three steals. In 2006, White joined the Redmen out of Champlain College in St. Lambert, Que.

Bettez, a 5-foot-4, sophomore forward with the women鈥檚 hockey team, scored five goals and added four assists as 六合彩开奖结果 swept both their games over Concordia and Carleton last weekend. In Saturday鈥檚 10-0 road victory at Concordia, the 21-year-old management major, tied single-game school records with seven points and five goals. She also broke the team鈥檚 single-season record and tied the Quebec university record for most goals scored. Bettez, who was the CIS rookie of the year last season, leads the Quebec league in scoring with an impressive 16-20-36 record in just 10 games. She currently ranks second in the CIS national scoring race, five points back of the leader who has played in seven more games. Bettez is a product of Dawson College.
