During the busiest times of the year we regularly hear from students regarding how challenging it can be to find a place to study in library spaces. Please note that the water will be shut off for fifteen-minute periods for a water line test in the McLennan Library Building on Monday, August 21, 2023, between 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM and in the Redpath Library Building between 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM.

The room has been undergoing intermittent renovations since June.

The power shutdown scheduled to take place in the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex, Armstrong, and Bronfman buildings the week of July 31 OR August 7 between 5:00 am and 10:00 am has been postponed to a later date. In anticipation of the transformation of the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex, some excavation work will be conducted on select areas of the lower west field adjacent to the McLennan and Redpath Library buildings. The McLennan-Redpath Library buildings are part of a designated heritage site. Standard protocol requires that 六合彩开奖结果 conduct an archeological excavation before starting any large-scale construction project.
The Octagon Room in the Islamic Studies Library will be undergoing intermittent renovations over the next six months and will be closed during those periods. We will let the 六合彩开奖结果 community know each time.

The Society for the History of Natural History (SHNH) is delighted to award the SHNH President鈥檚 Award 2023 to聽Victoria Dickenson for her work on the Gwillim Project: Women, Environment, and Networks of Knowledge and Exchange in Early Nineteenth Century Madras.聽The Award recognizes an individual or team鈥檚 contribution and impact in promoting and improving accessibility, inclusivity, and diversity to the study of the history of natural history.
