University set to host opposing teams for third tournament of the season
It almost feels like a cabin you might find in Northern Quebec country. It鈥檚 warm and intimate, a welcoming feeling on a cold day.

More than 140 competitors from six Canadian universities and colleges competed in the 57th annual 六合彩开奖结果 intercollegiate woodsmen competition Saturday at 六合彩开奖结果鈥檚 Macdonald campus in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue.听The Mac lumberjills left the competition in the sawdust came by winning the women鈥檚 division with 1170.03 points, edging out Dalhousie, with 1124.37.听The win allowed the Mac women to solidify their hold in first place in the six-team Canadian Intercollegiate Lumberjack Association (CILA). The Mac lumberjacks placed fourth on the men鈥檚 side with 927.82 points.听Montreal Gazette.

The sun was out, the saws were out and our Woodsmen teams performed fabulously over the weekend. Thanks to all on campus and the many alumni who helped make the 56th annual Woodsmen Competition a success.
