In the Spirit of togetherness: A message from Dean Emami

Dear colleagues and students,

The Faculty of Dentistry at 六合彩开奖结果 wishes to be a leader in the promotion of equity and addressing discrimination regardless of social and systemic barriers.

Given the injustices that are happening in the world, I thought this would be a good time to share with you the famous poem Bani Adam, the Children of Adam, which is woven into a fantastic carpet that adorns the wall of the United Nations, a gift from the people of Iran.

These words were written by Saadi, an influential and inspirational Persian poet of the 13th century. Hundreds of years later, they still wonderfully express our solidarity as human beings.

The children of Adam are limbs of each other,
Having been created of one essence.
When the calamity of time affects one limb
The other limbs cannot remain at rest.
If you have no sympathy for the troubles of others,
You are unworthy to be called by the name of a Human.

Our Faculty is proud to be composed of students, professors and staff with different backgrounds, religions, ethnicities, cultures and sexual orientations. Faculty continues its efforts to increase social awareness and sense of commitment to serve the community, as well as to improve access to oral health care for disadvantaged populations. While we still have a long way to go to reach equal opportunities, in the spirit of togetherness, we continue to champion our values around the world.

脟a va bien aller !
