Biography:
Michael Wade is a researcher with the Environmental Health Science and Research Bureau at Health Canada in Ottawa.聽His research examines the consequences of exposures to commercial chemicals on reproduction and early development with a particular focus on hormonal control of development.聽In addition, Dr. Wade contributes to the development and validation of standardized toxicity assays used to screen and test chemicals for endocrine disrupting activity.聽He represents Canada on several committees at the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development that develop and validate standardized Test Guidelines used to for characterize toxicity of commercial chemicals for risk assessment.聽Dr. Wade will contribute to Aim 2.
