To acknowledge injustices, make amends and move forward, together.
What do you think is needed for Reconciliation to succeed?
Difficult to say whether reconciliation will succeed after so much pain has been inflicted. Honest acknowledgement of historical and present injustice is necessary and is happening now. We will need to reinstill trust to be able to move forward.
What is your personal pledge of action(s) to take part in that process of Reconciliation?
As a communicator, listen, and put forward voices and stories of indigenous people, and watch for and call out injustices.
