Study areas on main floor of Redpath Library Building closed until late July
Renovations are currently taking place in the Redpath Library Building, making parts of the main floor temporarily inaccessible.
Study areas and group study rooms on the main floor of the Redpath Library Building are closed.
The e-classroom (Room RM-23), Cybertheque (basement level) and Blackader area (2nd floor) will remain open and are accessible via alternate routes.
The Writing Centre can be accessed via the Redpath Hall entrance on the side terrace.
All Library branches closed on July 1 for Canada Day
Please note that Tuesday, July 1 is a statutory holiday (Canada Day)聽therefore all Library branches will be closed.

Air conditioning not functional at McLennan-Redpath Library Complex
The McLennan-Redpath Library Complex air conditioning system is not functional due to a broken pipe. It will take 7-10 days to complete the repair. Depending on the weather outside, the building may get warmer than usual. Library users can also expect some noise caused by drilling, hammering and welding and are encouraged to use other, quieter, cooler branch library spaces to study. Colombo interlibrary loan database unavailable Friday, June 13, 5:00pm until midnight Saturday June 14
The Colombo interlibrary loan database will be unavailable to 六合彩开奖结果 users and staff from 5:00pm on Friday, June 13, 2014 until the end of the day on Saturday, June 14, 2014.

This coming Saturday, June 14, starting at 10:00 PM, 六合彩开奖结果 IT will be carrying out scheduled maintenance on central authentication systems. As a result, you will not be able to login to most Library services for a 5-minute period of time within the maintenance window. Changes to e-resource access: Classic Catalogue, eResearch Gateway, Google Scholar
Today (June 9) we implemented a number of changes that affect how the Library鈥檚 e-resources are accessed by the 六合彩开奖结果 Community.
E-resources to be removed from the Classic Catalogue on June 9
As mentioned previously, we will be removing electronic resources from the Classic Catalogue.
New Library Service: Journal Article/Book Chapter Scanning Service
The 六合彩开奖结果 Library is pleased to announce the inauguration of a new service. Effective May 29, 2014, 六合彩开奖结果 students, faculty and staff may request scanned copies of journal articles or book chapters from the print collection of the 六合彩开奖结果 Library to be sent to their 六合彩开奖结果 email address.

eResearch Gateway to be retired
Updated May 28: The retirement of the eresearch gateway has been moved back to June 9.
On Monday, June 9, 2014聽the聽eResearch Gateway聽will be taken off-line.
The eResearch Gateway provides alternate ways of searching for articles, databases, and other electronic resources. This functionality is now provided for the most part by聽WorldCat聽and the Library's聽subject guides.
All Library branches closed for Journ茅e nationale des patriotes
Please note that all Library branches will be closed on Monday, May 19, 2014 for a statutory holiday (Journ茅e nationale des patriotes).
Some Islamic Studies Library collections unavailable until July 15
From May 20 to July 15, Morrice Hall , which houses the Islamic Studies Library, will be undergoing an accessibility project which includes renovating the third floor washrooms. In order to do so, contractors need to open the ceiling on the second floor of the library which requires the removal of three shelving units. The materials from these shelves were packed, and the shelves were removed on Tuesday, May 13. Items in the call number range BP193.3 M3 1983 to DR438.3 M57 1990 will be unavailable until July 15, 2014.
