Overview

Electrical Engineering : Schottky junctions: potential barriers, diffusion theory, thermionic emission theory, image force lowering, carrier injection, depletion layer recombination, tunnelling, effect of surface states and interfacial layer, barrier height determination. Photovoltaic solar cells: short circuit current, spectral response, equivalent circuit, fill factor, conversion efficiency.
