Overview

Interdisciplinary Studies : The objectives of this unit are to study the structure and function of the components of the musculoskeletal and blood systems. The interaction of the structure and function will be examined. The embryology, macroscopic and microscopic anatomy as well as molecular structure and function relating to the musculoskeletal and blood systems will be discussed. Lectures, laboratory sessions, small group seminars as well as audio-visual presentations, multi-discipline clinically applied sessions, computer assisted instruction and independent self-directed learning will be utilized to achieve these goals.
