Overview

Management Science : A study of the fundamental design principles and techniques for user-centered designs in both product and service environments. Topics covered: the role of design in business, characteristics of good design, various effects of design (e.g., on cost, manufacturability, maintainability, environmental compatibility, marketability), design process frameworks, organizing for design.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2020-2021 academic year.
