Vue d'ensemble

Sciences politiques : An analysis of the major constitutional conflicts since the adoption of the Constitution Act of 1982. The focus will be on the theories of federalism and conceptions of the political community informing the specific proposals, their objectives and details, and the politics of the outcomes.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2020-2021 academic year.

  • Prerequisites: A 300-level Canadian Politics course and one of POLI 221 (Government of Canada), POLI 222 (Political Process & Behaviour in Canada), POLI 226 (La Vie Politique Quebecoise) or Permission of Instructor
