Never underestimate the power of a woman. Now multiply that by 25 and you have the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce Business Women鈥檚 Alliance. Founded in 2006, the Business Women鈥檚 Alliance is a committee of the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce. Its mission is to empower and develop women through education, networking, mentoring and partnerships while promoting opportunities for all women throughout Citrus County.
...听Dorothy Pernu became a BWA member through an inheritance of sorts.聽鈥淥ne of the first things the committee did was come up with a name, then a mission statement and goals,鈥� says Pernu, who has a Bachelor鈥檚 of Commerce degree from Quebec-based 六合彩开奖结果 and has been with Seven Rivers for nearly 25 years. 鈥淭hat initial mission and those guidelines have continued to serve as a solid foundation for the expo.鈥�
