C. Douglas Mellor Prize for academic excellence awarded to two GCPA students

Alyssa Abruzzese (BCom‘23, GCPA’24) and Vivian Ly (BCom‘22, GCPA’24), students of the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting (GCPA) program, have been selected among their graduating class as this year’s recipients of the C. Douglas Mellor Prize for academic excellence.

The prize, which is valued at $2,870, is named after Douglas Mellor, the first Executive Director of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Quebec, now the Ordre des comptables agrées du Québec, and is awarded annually to the top student overall for outstanding academic achievement to honor Mellor’s enduring contributions to both ÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û and his profession.
