PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A)聽聽 Personal Care Attendant Summer Training Program:
There is a serious need for English-speaking health workers in Qu茅bec City. CEGEP Champlain - St. Lawrence鈥檚 program trains c茅gep students who are planning a career in the health care area to work as personal care attendants at Jeffery Hale Hospital - Saint Brigid鈥檚 during the summer period with the possibility of continued employment while they are in school.
B)聽聽 Bilingual Nursing Program:
CEGEP Champlain - St. Lawrence will continue its efforts to establish a partnership with C茅gep聽de聽Sainte鈥慒oy to offer Nursing students the possibility of doing all of their general education courses, including two Medical English Terminology courses in English. In addition聽CEGEP Champlain - St. Lawrence will develop on-line Medical English Terminology courses, which could be made available to all Nursing students throughout the province.
